Ferry Flight

By Matt | September 14, 2008

I had the chance this weekend to do a ferry flight for my flight school. The flight was short but very fun. I had to drop of my flight instructor to pick up a plane that was in Midland for a starter replacement. It’s always nice to fly a plane for free!!! My goal over the next few weeks is to complete my night rating. I havent flown at night for over a week because I was on the night shift at work.

I also had a chance to talk to Doug Morris the author of “From the Flight Deck“. He thanked me for recommending his book to others. He is now a A320 Captain for Air Canada and residing in Toronto now. He seems like a very nice guy!
