First solo night flight complete

Yesterday night I had a chance to do my first solo night flight. I just stayed in the circuit and did a ton of touch and go’s. I practiced landing without landing lights, short field takeoff/landings. It was so much fun flying at night. Can’t wait to my next flight! Night rating is coming along!

Seneca students make emergency landing on highway!

Just read some news about  a Seneca College pilot and a couple passengers made a emergency landing on a highway in North Hudson NY. They were en route to Burlington, Vt., when their engine failed. They were flying a Beechcraft Bonanza 36 (single piston aircraft).
